Privacy Policy

In short

Han Dee does not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal identifier. No account is required. All learning progress stays on your device.

What is stored on your device

• Sentences learned, streak, daily challenge scores, Hangul course progress, pronunciation scores, and mock exam results.
• Settings such as level, learning goal, and notification preference.

None of this leaves your device. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Microphone and pronunciation practice

The microphone is used only when you start a pronunciation challenge. Your speech is converted to text by the device's own speech recognizer (an Android or browser system service), and that text is compared with the sentence to produce a score.

• The app does not save your audio to a file and does not send audio to our servers.
• Audio is processed ephemerally during recognition and then discarded.
• The device's speech recognizer may process the audio under its own provider's policy (e.g. Google).

Advertising

Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use the device Advertising ID to show and measure ads. We request non-personalized ads only and restrict ad content to a general audience rating. Han Dee Pro users see no ads. You can reset or delete the Advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

In-app purchases

All payments are handled by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details; the app only checks purchase status with Google Play.

What we do not do

• No sign-up or login.
• No access to contacts, location, or camera.
• No user-to-user communication, and nothing about you is shown to other users.

Children

This app is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to young children.

Deleting your data

Because we hold no data on servers, uninstalling the app or clearing its app data removes everything.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
